My feelings towards this show was that at first it seemed Will was a very angry, mean, and sad man. As the movie went on it showed me how hard it can be to break through a person's wall they have built in front of themselves, to protect themselves from getting hurt again.
I think Sean broke through when Will heard him standing up for him against the professor, knowing that the only thing the professor wanted Will for was his mind and not to help him or be a friend to him.
I'm glad at the end Will went on to get his woman back, the one and only person he has fallen in love with and realized she was not going to hurt him and be there for him no matter what.

The King's Speech
This movie pulled my interest in more then I thought it would. It pulled me in a away that I really paid attention to what they were doing. It showed that this incredible man was trying to please his father in a profound was and was unable to,because of his stutter problem. When Bertie's wife found Lionel and the two became great friends, for no matter how much they fought they always found their way back to each other. I don't think King George would have made it without him. I was surprise in the movie to find that Georges daughter is now Queen Elizabeth. I'm surprise the family would have let them produce a movie like this to air all there secrets, especially about George's stuttering problem and then with Johnny dying at 13 from epilepsy. How David gave up the thrown to his brother for a women he loved.
I noticed throughout the movie the colors of green, blue and a mixture of the lighter colors of green. I couldn't quite figure out what those symbolized, except for the fact that maybe those were the Royal colors or popular colors back in those days.
I'm really glad I got to watch this show and see that not everyone is picture in the royal family and that people do have their misfortune's with their fortune.

Good Will Hunting
This was a great movie showing the Irish-American community and how the lived. They are a banned of people that fight with each other, and that are their for each other. I feel that Will had to fight through his past struggles to get on with his hunting and that he was a good person.
I think Sean got to Will within their first encounter, just by letting Will be who he thought he needed to be. Will had a big wall built in front of him that Sean had to chip away at. The way Will was brought up was possibly a way he became so smart. Funny part in the show was that it seemed that none of his friends really knew how smart he was, but in the end Ben told him to get out. How all those supposedly brilliant minds weren't even as smart as Will was. I feel Sean helped himself move on from his past by Helping Will move on from his. Sean was also a brilliant mind in the show, but just in a different way by helping others. In the end the main significance in he show to me was when Sean kept telling Will the "it's not his fault". This is was the main significant of the show I believe came to light.
They did keep showing a three leaf clover throughout the show, symbolizing the Irish community which they lived. Although Ben really is the only one with an Irish decent in him.

On the Waterfront
This movie was extremely hard for me to get into. It seemed more like a mob movie then a broken union movie. I could tell that Terry was trying to continue to be a good man, and he was being kept down because his brother Charley was working for Johnny. Then when Terry met Edie, he knew he had to change the way he was going if he wanted to be with her.
It did hit me by surprise when I found out that Charley had Terry throw a fight, to help Johnny win a bet. To do that to your own brother, who could have had lots of success, and not have to work on the docks or for people like Charley was. Yes maybe Charley would have been killed by Johnny, and his crew if he had not done that, but he ended up dead in the end anyway, because he could not kill his own brother.
This movie was really slow, compared to what I like to see in a movie, but I understand the concept of what Elia was trying to portray in the movie, that if your willing to stand up together to take back you life and work, that you will succeed in doing this.

Casablanca
As I have heard from many people that this movie is an all time classic. When I first started to watch the movie it was hard for me to get into this movie, mainly because I was thinking this movie is way to old and in black and white. Which with the movie being in black and white I don't know why it bothered me, because I like black and white picture more then colored ones. Anyway back to the movie Casablanca, this movie really is a classic, it pulled me in, in a way I never expected.
I thought I had this movie figured out as to the way it was going to end, and everything in between that would happen. I love the way they started the movie to make it seem like it was about war and mobs, but instead it lead into a love story of two people that found their way back to each other just by mistake. The way they made Humphrey Bogart seem like he was a bad person and into bad things, he turned out to be the man, the good people could count on. He was for the people who were trying to do good and not helping the bad ones along the way.
Ingrid Bergman was definitely a beautiful women, unsure of her desires at the time. She did decide she wanted to stay, with the man (Rick) she fell in love with in Paris, while her husband (Victor) was in a concentration camp.
In the end Rick chose to give Ilsa and Victor the passes they needed to get to the U.S., so Victor could continue his work, in helping others in the concentration camps. Rick knew deep down that he had to let his lover Ilsa go or he and she would eventually end up regretting everything they had done to stay together.
So like I said above, I thought I had this movie totally figured out, by my surprise there was a twist in the end that I never expected, with Rick sending Ilsa with Victor to the states, to me that showed great character in the way they produced this movie, and by showing us that not all things are always as they seem.
